In the August issue, Hej!Spanien tells the story of Tore from northern Sweden. After being active throughout his life, hip pain increasingly limited his activities and finally became unbearable – surgery was necessary. Unfortunately, healthcare queues in many parts of Sweden are long, particularly in Tore’s Norrbotten.

Tore contacted Stella Medical Center, sent his medical records to Quiron’s hospital in Torrevieja in May, and was already operated on by June 11.
The admission and testing process went smoothly in just a couple of hours, with Swedish-speaking healthcare staff helping Tore find his way. Just ten days later, Tore was able to fly back to Sweden.
“I can start living again,” says a very grateful Tore, who now cycles every day to build up his muscles.
